Our Board
Our Board of Directors has 4 positions and meets with Anita regularly to discuss goals, programming and fundraising, all while ensuring that all ranch activities keep us aligned with our core mission. We currently have one open board position.
Dori Mitchell
Hi, I’m Dori Mitchell. Tom and I have been married for 55 years, have four adult children and 15 grandchildren.
We have been involved in the Healing Hearts Ranch since the day it started. Tom helps with many projects and I am the treasurer.
It is exciting to see all that is happening at the ranch and we look forward to getting to know more people as they visit the ranch.
Darlene Skaug
My name is Darlene. I'm the mother of five and have 16 grandkids. I became interested in ministry horse ranches after hearing about Chrystal Peaks on a Focus on the Family broadcast. I love the way they reach out to the hurting!
I'm excited to see what God can do through Healing Hearts! I'm already shocked at how all our connections put us together!
Rachel Ruther
My name is Rachel. My husband Chris and I have been married 12 years and we have three children. I have the privilege of serving on the Board as the Newsletter Editor.

My favorite part about serving on this team is getting to see just how much growth has happened over the years. From dreams to reality, they're meeting needs in the community as a safe space for families and individuals. I'm excited for what's next!
